Luma Ray 3.14: Finally in 1080p.

4x faster, 3x cheaper, and native 1080p. Luma's Ray 3.14 delivers the upgrade we've been waiting for.

Luma just dropped Ray 3.14. And unlike the other guys, they're not making us fill out a waitlist form. It's available right now in Dream Machine.

The Specs (Actually Good)

Let's look at the numbers:

  1. Native 1080p: Finally. No more upscaling artifacts that make your footage look like a video from the 2023 era.
  2. 4× Faster: That render that used to take time to brew a coffee? Done before you find your mug.
  3. Modify Video (18s): Extend your clips without the style shifting into a Salvador Dalí painting.

What's Missing?

Audio is still ghostware.

Luma hasn't added native sound generation yet. So when you make that award-winning 18-second short, you'll still need ElevenLabs or Suno to add the sound.

Also, HDR capabilities in the "Modify" workflow are currently missing. If you're a color grading nerd, you might be disappointed.

Go Break It

No waitlists. No "coming soon."

Head to lumalabs.ai/dream-machine.

Type something weird. See if it breaks. That's the best part.
